Mjóifjörður

The campsite is located next to the guesthouse Sólbrekka and close to the shore. There you can sit down and listen to the calm sounds of the sea, and the birds chirping, walk around, and pick some beautiful stones, and if you're lucky you might see seals or whales swimming by. From June - August Sólbrekka Café is open every day. There you can buy various drinks, hot/cold, non-alcoh./alcoh., light refreshments, including freshly baked waffles with cream and homemade rhubarb jam, Icelandic Kleina, grilled sandwiches, etc. In Sólbrekka Café is also possible to buy various souvenirs and local handmade products.
